Dorset & Wilts Div 1 North.
Fairford 0, Chippenham 67.
FAIRFORD were once again hit by injuries and late cry-offs which meant that there were people playing out of position and new combinations in crucial areas.
This inexperience was exploited by a well-drilled side who will no doubt be pushing for promotion come the end of the season.
Time and again, Chippenham showed the home side how to make good use of quick ball, highlighting a lack of width in Fairford's defence.
The positives for Fairford were the commitment on show until the final whistle and the fact that nine of the squad were aged 20 or under. This potential bodes well for the next few seasons.
